About the Design Process.
Step One.
To get started, contact me to start an inquiry. First, you will fill out my new client questionnaire. I highly recommend you gather your Pinterest pins, bring all the stakeholders to the table, and include their ideas and priorities when filling out the questionnaire. These questions help me determine the scope of your project and what services will be the right fit for you.
Timeline: I recommend about 4 months before your wedding date for the full wedding suite, or earlier. (or after you get engaged for Save the Dates)
Step Two.
Based on your answers to the questionnaire, I will do some prep work and start a moodboard to foster discussion. In your free consultation meeting, virtual or in-person, we will dig into the details of your project. During this call, we will discuss which styles you like and don’t like. We’ll also discuss the budget and timeline for your stationery needs.
1-2 weeks after questionnaire.
Pricing: Cost depends greatly on quality and quantity. My average client spends $2,000 or more for custom stationery.
Step Three.
Now is when I get started working on the design mockups and discuss in further detail the paper, printing options and estimates. My custom design service includes up to three revisions, however, in most instances, no more than two are required.
3-6 weeks of design rounds and revisions depending on the complexity and number of services.
Step Four.
Once the revisions are finalized, we’re ready to print! My services include one mockup of your stationery suite to make sure it looks (and feels) perfect. I work with local Philly printers to handle all of the printing details for you.
Printing production takes up to 35 days once the printer gets the final files.
Since you typically send out invitations 4-6 weeks prior to the wedding date, I like to plan the timeline backwards from the ideal send date.
So many ways to customize.

FAQs
How far in advance should I place my order?
A wedding invitation suite can take anywhere from 8-12 weeks from the day you get in touch to the day it is delivered to your doorstep. The timing fluctuates depending on the size of the order and amount of revisions needed. Typically you mail invitations 6-8 weeks before the wedding. Don’t forget to keep in mind time to address, stuff, seal, and mail your invitations. With this information in mind, I recommend getting in touch 4 months before your wedding day, earlier if possible.
For day of materials, and save the dates, your order will take about 4 weeks from the day the order is sent to the printer to the day it is delivered to your doorstep. Design can take 2-4 weeks depending on how many revisions are needed and the size of the order.
How many revisions am I allowed?
After your first proof is sent, you are allowed up to 3 free rounds of revisions. Any additional rounds of revisions are available for an extra cost. Typically only 2 rounds of revisions are needed.
How many invitations should I order?
Calculate considering that not every guest gets their own invitation. When we account for families and couples, the final invitation count is usually 60 - 75% of the total guest count. In addition, it is recommended to add 10-15% extra invitations for any last minute additions to your guest list. You may want to order a few extra invitations for keepsakes as well.
Do you have fonts and colors for me to choose from?
I have a large collection of fonts. We will discuss your typography preferences in your consult meeting. For instance if you love script fonts, I will accommodate this in the design rounds.
I partner with local Philadelphia printers to source colors for paper and envelopes. New colors are released and discontinued frequently. For this reason, the options are pretty endless and it would be hard for me to list them all for you. In our consult, I will ask if you prefer a specific color palette, thickness, and paper weight, and find the best paper to match your preferences.
